My monthly box of wellness + everyday essentials arrived Saturday!! ITS CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER! This amazing package of goodness arrives every month and its like Christmas when its here. Today I want to tell you about what I received in September, and in a day or so I’ll write up October. Its just as good!
Once a month I inventory what our family needs: cleaning products, shampoo, our vitamins, skin care, sunscreen, bug repellent, makeup, and sometimes oils, and then put this into my ER monthly order.
Almost every single thing our family needs in regards for personal products or cleaning products I can get delivered right to my door. I no longer need to go to Target or CVS for these things, or troll Amazon for non-toxic products that are safe for us to use. Its a bit like stitch fix but YOU choose your items every month. After all, who knows what you need better than you do? (Well, yes,….. Maybe your mom. (But that’s a whole different convo!) YL has products to cover just about everything; shampoo, deodorant, skin, bath, soap, face, shaving…the list goes on. And YL has a shipping program similar to Prime that saves you a TON of money on shipping charges (called YLGo).
In September I restocked with some laundry
soap (an extra for the vacation house, since I still haven’t finished the one at home that I got 3 months ago), dish soap, vitamins and items for a new baby gift bag. I’ll talk about the baby items in a later post. In short, THEY’RE AWESOME! for everyone, not just babies. (just as a quick aside… seedlings wipes are great for wiping down smelly armpits when you don’t have a chance to shower before answering an emergency babysitting call).
The MultiGreens and Inner Defense supplements, Raven, SniffleEase and Ginger oils were all FREE. Every month I get about $100+ in free products because every month there are the BEST promos. What I loved about September promos was that I needed Inner Defense and MultiGreens anyway, but this time I didn’t have to pay for them.
I also earn 20% back on my monthly order…Target and Amazon only give card members 5% back. For example, every time I buy 100PV (about $100) I receive a credit for $20/points to use in the future. I am able to use the points earned from my wellness box like free cash for other items that my family needs, or bank them for a while and save up for one of those special bottles of oils, like rose. Next February that 20% will bump up to 25% back. YL has generous rewards for customers who stick around. It’s a win all around. We get safe products, I save on gas by not driving 30 minutes to Target, and I’m saving tons of money. Its almost like having Christmas come once a month when that box appears.
