Plan it out – this diffuser recipe highlights lemongrass. Oh man. Lemongrass. Its herbal, fresh, lemony and just plain delicious to smell! Because I love it so much, I plan it out to use lemongrass on my dryer balls, everyone in the house loves it. What I love about using it on the dryer balls is the length of time the scent will stay on my clothes. Consequently, I love opening my dresser drawer a few days after laundry has been done. I love smelling the fresh scent from the oil waft up to me.
Lemongrass is sometimes referred to as “fever grass” in some cultures that made “fever teas” from Lemongrass leaves. Lemongrass is native to tropical countries such as India, China, and Thailand where it has been used for centuries as an ingredient in cooking. It is typically steam distilled from the leaves and woody stalks of the lemongrass plant, and it produces a subtle citrus-herb scent. Historically it has been used as an insecticide, for fevers, and as a sedative.
