Boy! its been a whirlwind week, with Valentine’s day and immediately after that, school vacation week. Its Tuesday and this is the first time since last Thursday I’ve been able to sit and say hi to you all! We headed north to the snow for vacation, what did you all do?

I’m blessed to have in-laws that allow us to stay at their condo whenever we want. Its the perfect location – close to a great restaurant, walking distance to a little town square, a great coffee house, an indoor pool, and a local rec center that has open hours for non-residents.

When we head up I never know what the trip will hold for us. So I end up bringing ALL my oils with me! I found this great case that fits really easy in between the front and back seats of the car on the floor, and holds everything I need or might EVER need. Its super sturdy, and has a slide in front so the drawers don’t fall out. The bottom drawer is a little taller than the others to accommodate for 10ml roller bottles you may have, and the squares inside fit 5 ml, 10 ml, and 15 ml bottles. Good thing too, that I brought them all…so far since Friday we’ve used roman chamomile for scrapes and cuts. I read somewhere that its an analgesic (helps with pain). We’ve used the owie blend oil for bumps, digize for upset stomachs, a go-away-cold chest rub made from cbd muscle cream, RC and raven blends….lavender, aromasleep, valerian for sleeping…. holy cow, the list goes on.

Saturday we went to the Ice Castles in Lincoln, NH. WHOA. I’m in total awe at how much work goes into making these structures! There are slides, and caves, and tunnels and bridges. Dress warm if you go, when we were there it was 25F. Thankfully although it was windy, within the maze of structures the wind isnt able to penetrate, so it was just COLD.

Monday we had a field trip to a place in Littleton, NH. Chutters is known as the candy store with the longest penny candy counter in the United States. Any holy quacamole! I think they actually do! In addition to penny candy, they have AMAZING FUDGE. And a buy one get one policy of buy a pound, get a 1/2 pound of fudge free. So we now have a buffet of fudge in the house.

Today its been snowing since 8 am, so its a play/pj/hot chocolate/snow day for us. Tomorrow is another field trip somewhere, and home on Thursday.

How’s your school vacation week turning out?
