I had a SUPER stressful winter, between having COVID and caring for family members who also had COVID, I had been away from home for a bit and not drinking enough water (again)*. Now my skin was showing the results and looking … well … old. Spring was not looking much better stress wise either. So many changes in a short amount of time. You would think after the last 15 months of life, I’d be used to things changing up on a dime. Nope. But boy, I needed a boost (kick?) in the right direction to get back on track. So I recently purchased the CBD beauty boost oil.
*Being away from home, I didn’t have my Soda Stream and fell out of habit of drinking a liter a day!
Whoa – this oil definitely fit the bill. My skin is measurably better after only 5 days of using it. Its a combination of CBD, rose essential oil, tamanu and grapeseed oil all working together to maintain an even skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. I’ve now been using it since early February and I love it more every day. The rose fragrance is such a uplifting way to start the day! The combined oils in this bottle are great for all skin types: oily, dry, combo and everything in-between. Each included oil serves a specific purpose:
- Rose oil beautifies, soothes, and moisturizes the skin to promote a youthful appearance. The luxurious fragrance of rose adds so much to the experience of using this in the mornings.
- Tamanu Oil is a smooth, nutty oil rich in fatty acids to improve the appearance of the skin & promote an even skin tone. Tamanu is a nut oil and in some cultures, is known as beauty leaf oil.
- Grapeseed Oil is rich in omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidants to absorb quickly without leaving the skin feeling oily.
The directions say to add 1-2 droppers to your hand and apply evenly. For me that’s a WHOLE lotta oil. I’ve been using 8-10 drops directly on my face. The best trick I learned for this oil is to make sure my face is really damp before applying the oil. I seriously wish I had thought to take a before photo of my skin. The difference is so noticeable!
